the night nursing staff on the bariatic wing was excellent. they were very encouraging and supportive.

I can only hope that the good things that I've been told by other patients of the bariatric floor are true and not anything like my experience in the E.R.

The service was excellent. Everytime any hospital staff walked in my room they had a smile on thier faces. They were experienced with working with obese patients. A member of their hospital guest services even came personally came to my room and gave my mom (who stayed with me the entire time) a guest card for their cafeteria. The guest card entitled her to 50% off her food. She was extemely happy and could not stop raving about the excellent cooks they have. I would give this hospital a 5*****star rating! My stay was very pleasent.

IT WAS NOT BAD AT ALL, BUT I DIDN'T FEEL COMPLETELY SATISIFIED WITH IT EITHER. THE NURSES WOULD TAKE THEIR SWEET TIME COMING TO MY AID WHEN I CALLED THEM, THEY DID NOT COME AND CLEAN ME UP...THINGS LIKE THAT.

I have personally chosen South Miami over Baptist. I asked Dr. Verdeja which one he preferred and he preferred South Miami, though he works out of both. He says they are very humane and will make me comfortable.
