St. Elizabeth's Medical Center Hospital

The step down unit was wonderful! There are four patient and two nurses stationed 24/7. I was in the unit for 2 nights and then moved to a double room. All of the nurses were very kind and helpful. They came right away when I rang the buzzer in the double room. In the step down unit I basically had my own nurse so I just called out for her if I needed anything. I would highly recommend Caritas St Elizabeth's Medical Center to anyone considering bariatric surgery. I was very happy with the hospital and the staff!

I was in a step down unit with four other patients I couldn't sleep as all one patient did was whine all night. The other talked and barked in his sleep so I didn't get much rest.

i have no complaints however there was one nurse in paticular that had no bed side mannors at all and i found that very disturbing.

The nursing staff was excellent, supportive and helpful. I had stayed 2 times in last year, once for gall bladder removal and then for the lap band. I had no family to help and the staff and Dr Pecquex went beyond what was required to make sure I was okay.

I had a great stay at St. E's. With the exception of one nurse, who was horrible. I was far from a difficult patient, but she was just plain rude.

My hospital stay was great. There was one post operative patient that was in pain and very confused. A resident spent 3 hours with her until she settled down some. All this took place in the middle of the night. They were very generous with their time and their love for that poor soul.

I feel the entire program with the medical staff, dietitian, and the surgeon get to know you personally and work to take the best care of all of you.

I recommend it.

I loved the surgeon and most of my nurses were very nice there are a few that work in the hospital that need a little more training when it comes to working with the public but my overall experience was good

I have had an excellent experience from the beginning. Everyone is very thoughtful and caring. They worked around my schedule to make appointments. I felt like a person when I was there and not just another patient.
