The nurses seemed to know exactly what Dr Smith wants and worked hard to please him.

I had to stay in ICU for two days because I wouldn't breath on my own after surgery. The staff in ICU are the greatest! The only Nurse's names I remember are Mark, Maud, & Renea. They acted like my personal staff, as if I were the only patient that they had to care for. Also the staff on 5 south are also very good, again acting like I was the only one on the entire floor! I'm sorry that I can't remember their names. There was so many Nurses & Tech's coming in & out I couldn't keep up with all of them.
The ONLY complaint I have is that they need to make the patient loading & unloading area a bit different. They need to get the vehicles closer to the hospital so you don't have to walk that long semicovered runway in the wind and rain.

I had a great hospital stay. All of the nurses were great. Except one and I remember who she is. She was terrible. Thank god I only had her for one day.

The nursing staff was wonderful! Most of my time was spent in ICU due to the fact that I had some problems with my BP after surgery. The ICU nurses were very responsive and considerate.

I absolutely LOVED the special bariatric bed that I got right up front. It lowers at the foot like a chair so you can just stand up out of the bed instead of having to roll out the side.
The only complaint I have is with one of the nightly interruptions. I understand most of the visits by the nurses throughout the night, but waking me up just to check my temperature and blood pressure seemed a bit too much.

I was very happy with the efficiency of the whole process, from beginning to end.

For the most part the nurses and staff were very dedicated and interested in my well-being. However they are understaffed and I often had to wait half an hour or more just to get help to go to the bathroom, or for medication. It was such a problem that my Mom and Dad took turns spending the night so they could help take care of me.

In the surgical unit, the nurses team pts. with 2 RN's and an LPN. I've never in my umpteen surgeries received the responsive care I received at Kennestone by my multiple teams during my 4 day stay. They were very attentive to my pain needs and knowledgeable in treating morbidly obese pts.

The only complaint I had was that the hospital wouldn't put the first name I go by (and friends know me by) in the name list, only the formal name which was on my identification.

I had wonderful care dr.smith has special staff that care for his pat.Nurses were always concerned that I was not in pain and were very attentive to my needs.They were especialy sweet and kind to me.
