I wish they had a designated bariatric area for WL patients. Some of the nurses didn't seem informed on what type of surgery I had. Some seemed surprised. I'd like to think they were given report on my surgery type. I had two amazing nurses and two horrible nurses that stuck out. In general, my care was not too great, as my husband had to care for me and stayed with me the three days.

I could not have asked for a better or more supportive staff to assist me in all the stages of surgery, particularly in terms of my post-surgery recovery period. The staff was very responsive, even in the middle of the night.

My only issue was that my epidural pain management did not work initially and it took a bit of time to get the pain management at a bearable level.

Their care must fluctuate either with employees or proceedures or something. My first stay was excellant this stay wasn't. Don't know what happened.

I can't say enough good things about Wood County. The staff is top notch and my surgeon was terrific.
