Bernadette Wang Ashraf Plastic Surgeon MD

I had a mastopexy augmentation, abdominoplasty and brachioplasty in one surgery with Dr. Bernadette Wang Ashraf, and I could not be more pleased about my results!!! My surgery was about 4.5 hours at Northside Hospital, and I dedicated 3 good weeks for recovery. I only wish I had done this sooner!

Dr. Ashraf did my brachioplasty (arm lift) in March of 2007. 3 years later I still regret that decision. The morning of my surgery on the way to the hospital, I received a call that Dr. Ashraf's office double booked her for my surgery time and asked me to rush in. Apparently she was in a hurry, because she wasn't the one who sewed me back up, it was her then surgery tech Leslie. I was sewn too tight in places and too loose in places, so now I still jiggle in some spots and where I was sewn too tight, my scars pulled to be almost an inch wide. I also have sections of skin under my armpits where it was simply clumped together and sewn creating uneven bumps and pits that cause ingrown hair and infections that I deal with daily. I loved Dr. Ashraf as a person, but really... for what I paid I should be stitched back together by a skilled professional! Leslie was so extremely rude and after the office got my $$$, Leslie was the one who removed my drains, taped my incisions, etc... Dr. passed it off. All in all, I would take it back if I could and I am pretty sure I will see another surgeon to get it revised when I have the money (I am self-pay).

Dr. Ashrah did my Tummy tuck, breast lift and arm lift and she did an amazing job. She is a really sweet person and an amazing surgeon. Her PA Debbie is just as wonderful.

Dr.Wang-Ashraf is my new favorite person! She is as nice as she is skilled! I knew the minute I met her she was the right person for me! She did a great job- I am 3 days PO and feel pretty good - and look great too! I did not want to over expect any results...so I would not be disappointed. I am not - I could not have dreamed about results this good! These results are way better! Dr.Ashraf is AMAZING!- I can't say enough wonderful things about her and the entire staff - her office staff is great- as well as the surgical center staff- all 1st class!

Dr. Ashraf is very professional yet very thorough. I'm very pleased with the outcome so far (1 week PO). The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the hospital was FANTASTIC!!!!
I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor for Plastic Surgery procedures!

Dr. Ashraf was amazing! I had a breast lift/augmentation, limited incision brachioplasty(arm lift), and abdominoplasty w/muscle tightening. Its been a month and I am so thrilled and happy with my new body!

Dr. Ashraf is an excellent surgeon and also has a wonderful demeanor. My results are wonderful...I wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

I saw Dr. Ashraf on 10/12/2005 - looking to have a tummy tuck because of excess skin. She said that I was perfect for the surgery. She was willing to work with my insurance and I am new to the state. So, I asked to her wait until I had a letter from my Bariatric surgeon from DE. I sent Tamika the letter from Dr. Irgau on 11/2 she sent it along with phonts and a letter from Dr. Ashraf on 11/4 and BCBS approved me on 11/8. YAY!! My date is 11/23/05!!!! The tummy tuck was a complete success - painful but what do expect when they remove 15lbs of skin?!?!

I went to see Brain Howard and he was no really interested in helping unless you were a self pay, then I went to Diane Alexander in Oct and they lost all of my paperwork and finally found it in February and then sent it to the Ins company, but I was denied and needed more info. I did alot of leg work and was ready to sent more info into them and I got really disgusted and I read the post from Natalie and decided that I would give Dr. Wang a try and I absolutely loved her. She is across the street from my baratric surgeon and he gave me her card when I went in for my 1 year check up (that was a year ago) and I could just kick myself in the butt everytime I think about it, my surgery may have already been done if I had of called then.I think everything happens for a reason and it is suppose to be like this,so we will see what happens. They told me that if I did not hear from them within 4 weeks to call them.They did give me a price of $6200 for my arms and Dr. Alexander gave me a price of $4840,so I called Terry at Dr. Wangs office and she said that she would discuss with Dr. Wang and get back with me. But she sounded pretty sure that they could match that price, especially since they are both with Artisan Plastic surgery.

This us an update to Dr. Wang I am having a BL with her done soon and already paid. Insurance did not pay but she was responable. $8000 about I would say and I am very excited. I can not see me using anyone but her. She is top of her field... I know when my breast are done I will be satisfied. she is also going to take off the extra skin on my sides that make my back look horific. So I am happy about that. I love this office they are all so very great!!! I originally seen Wang 04/18/05 And she was a delight. She explained everything over and beyond my expectations. She pulled out photo books of pics of TT and BL. She explained insurance procedure and was pleased I already had my letters. My paperwork went to BCBS on 05-09-05 and they recieved and approved me same day on 05-11-05. Approval letter recieved at Wang office on 05-25-05 and my surgery was schedule for 06-09-05... 7.5 weeks start to finish. I seen Wang right after surgery and next day. She gave me her cell # to call with any probs and she even called me on Saturday to check on me to see how I was. I mean she blew me back. She is top of her class and I would recommend her to everyone. I need to stress also that I had little to NO pain. Her pain management was over and beyone also. The hospital (northside) was wonderful. Staff was on point. I had no regrets and feel fortunate to have been so blessed to find this amazing woman. I was approved for a pentilectomy only but at no additional charge she did the full TT with muscle tightening and my belly button is flawless. My bikini cut is also flawless and healing beautifully. I can not thank God enough to have placed me in the hands of such an amazing woman. She will be doing all my other PS from here on out. I stil lhave alot of swelling but I know I will be pleased once all is said and done... Her staff is very well skilled with insurance companies. I know of 4 other co-workers whom had WLS and all used her and approved for TT first try. Her staff is excellent. She is very supportive to us WLS patients also.
