Premier Protein Chocolate Shake by Premier Protein® - Protein Drink

My surgeon gives these out to his new patients and I was able to try this one. It comes in a ready to drink carton which is very convenient. The flavor was good and did not have a fake or chemical taste to it. I will be using these during my preop and immediately post op phase. They have several flavors and I cant wait to try them.

I used and loved this protein drink for many years. I also enjoy the many other flavors as well. The fact that it has 30 grams of protein and such low sugar and carbs is a huge blessing and great nutritional value compared to other protein drinks. I will drink premier protein for the rest of my life. I am post gastric bypass surgery by 5 years and I still find that the extra protein is a great addition to my daily diet.

I have tried several of Premiers other shakes and I will tell you, none of them taste good except this one. I store them i my refrigerator and drink one every morning when I am done exercising. Lately I have been pouring them over my Special K for breakfast. I don't think they are too sweet or overly filling. Also, the good thing is you can buy them at Sams and some times you can catch them on special. Another thing I like about them is you can literally just drink them right from the box. It makes them very convenient.

I found out about Premier Protein Chocolate Shake from this site and tried it for the first time two years ago. I have to say it is one of the best tasting proteins I have had since I had surgery in 2006. I am battling regain, so I am using Premier as my meal replacement at this time. Chocolate is my favorite out of the flavors I have tried. I love the ready to drink ones better than the powder but that is probably because it is convenient.

I have VSG surgery scheduled in two weeks. My eating plan for surgery is a low sugar/fat protein shake for breakfast with at least 25 grams of protein and two portioned healthy meals. 6 days before surgery, I have to switch to 4 shakes a day, chicken broth snacks, and 80 oz. of water.
I was getting SO upset because I am almost to the 6 days of liquid only and I could not find a protein shake I like (ready made) that I enjoyed. I tried the chocolate this morning and it was DELICIOUS. It kept me full and satisfied until lunch time and I am actually looking forward to my all liquid diet now! It's the only bit of "sweetness" in my day. Thus far, I have only tried the chocolate. I'm getting the caramel next. They are available at my local Sam's Club for only $16.99 (case of 12) This is a STEAL in my opinion.
If you are having trouble finding a shake that you like, TRY THIS ONE.
