Hello everyone

Lisa it sounds like you had a great time.  Congrats on the big win!!!  I heard all about that sea turtle place.  My in-laws live in the Caymans.  They are here visiting.  Can you imagine living there. 

We had the whole family over for a Father's Day celebration.  Greg BBQed his delicious stuffed burgers.  We get brisket burgers from this butcher shop in Plainfield and they are so juicy and yummy.  Unfortunately, when Greg got there to get the burgers.  He was pulling in and someone backed into his car.  There was some damage.  It looks like the car door and rear fender will have to be replaced.  I would estimate about $3000 worth of damage.  He was so sad...that car is his baby...and on Father's Day.  I said...hey at least you're fine and the car is not totaled.  But you know how it is. 

In spite of that we had a nice day.  His family got him a gift card to a nice restaurant and his sister had been growing these hot ghost pepper plant in a planter.  They are about 6 inches tall now.  She started them awhile back.  She said by the end of the Summer they will be ready for harvesting.  He's excited.  He loves those hot peppers.

I had to reschedule my allergy appointment because stupid me forgot to stop taking my allergy meds.  I am on allergy shots and I go in every three months for retesting so they redo the serum, according to my new results.  Well allergy meds will of course mess with the results.  I can't believe I forgot to stop taking them.  I have too much on my mind. 

We are planning a trip to see Greg's daughter in Kentucky next month.  She in planning on getting married next year and just bought a house.  We are going down to visit to see her new place. 

That's about all the new news I got going on.  Better get back to work.  Have a good day all.   

Good Morning, We are home, and I am spending today on laundry and cleaning up. We unpacked mostly everything, but the suitcase with leftover clean clothes.That I will do today. Load one is the washer, load two iis ready to go.

Hubert bought hats at every location we were at. That is his hobby. I can't tell you how many he has, totes full.

Some day I will figure out how to display them.

I did buy a scrapbook from the ship. I will be starting on that as soon as I get the photos printed.

We had alot of fun, We went to a sea turtle rescue on Grand Cayman, we had a full Jamaican meal along a river in Jamaica and also went to Hell( a spot in the road, there is also one in Michigan), We had a beach day in Haiti, at a private beach owned by the ship company.

I would go back to the Caymans again.

Loved the service on the ship, had fab food, enjoyed it all.

BTW, I also won $2000.00 in the casino on the ship. Total shock. That is paying for a 5 day trip to Costa Rica with my girls in December.

Back to the daily grind.

Hey Carla and all!

I did not realize that Vinnie was going to be a big SIS!  Congrats!  I am sure she is so  excited.  That will sure be a kick to see.  Good luck to your daughter and hopefully things will go fast and smoothly.  

I am going back to work tomorrow for my previous employer.  The work at home Office Depot.  They called and asked me back.  So I am going to give Office Depot Office Max a third opportunity to let me go.    I don't know if I am nuts or not.  But it is a job, I know it.  It is work from home, pays well and I can dive in without training and starting over.  I do like it.  The people make it interesting to say the least.  I may tear my hair out some days but I can laugh about it later.  Some day I may write a book about how dumb people can be.  

I start tomorrow.  So no more vacation.  Back to getting on a schedule and no more staying up late at night for me.  

I found out this week that my roof has high wind damage and I need a new roof.  I just had it replaced about 7 years ago due to hail damage.  My insurance company is going to love me --- NOT.  

Hope everyone is staying cool.  Today (Sunday) it is surprisingly pleasant but when I looked up the forecast it is in the 90's for the next 10 days.  I am not a fan of that hot of weather.  Glad I dont have to go out!  Stay cool!

Hello all! 

Well life is never boring.  I was going through training for my new job and things were seeming too good to be true. Well yesterday I had a check overnighted to me to get supplies.  When I tried to deposit it, the bank refused the check saying this company that issued the check is writing checks on a closed account and they are being returned.  

When I got back from the bank and started questioning my supervisor he blocked me in the middle of our conversation.  So all the people I had contact have been reported to the FBI.  Next I am filing a local police report.  Unfortunately a previous check that I deposited and thought had cleared was returned.  I am out $1700.00!  Being unemployed of course I dont have that kind of money and had to dip into my savings before I am charged with an overdraft.  My bank is working with me as well. I have all kinds of documents for the police.  They will be charged with US Postal fraud, internet fraud, fraud to the elderly and more.  Now they have to catch them.  

I am a cross between   and .  They were really good as deception.  I had checked out the company, the reviews on Indeed.com and tried to be cautious.  Now I can only be proactive to helping catch these ##$%^^& thieves.  

My good news was Rick had his birthday yesterday and Gizmo and I went to see him.  We had a good visit and celebration.

My new cat escape proof fence is supposed to be installed on Saturday!   I have been waiting about 6 weeks for my guy to find time to get it done.  

I hope Lisa has a fabulous cruise.  Dawn you sound so busy and happy.  Enjoy your time with Liz when you get to see her!  Kids her age NEVER stay home! 

Crystal have a super time in the city on Friday and with the relatives on Saturday!  I like your present from Greg.  The two of you should really enjoy it.

Hello there

I am busy at work.  They have put a lot of extra work on me and now I am going, going, going. 

I have Friday off to go into the city to celebrate my birthday.  Saturday we are doing something with his family.  I think it's nice they want to celebrate my day.

Oh did I tell you what I am getting for my birthday.  I know we have a really great back patio.  It's beautiful with the paver stones and all.  But the problem is there is no shade.  So Unless we buy one of those huge gazebo things or attach an awning to the house we have to sit and bake in the sun.  So I wanted something nice to sit on for the front porch.  It's covered and we could sit out there and enjoy sun or rain.  I found a really nice cedar glider with a matching table.  Greg is getting that for me.  Yay!!!!

Dawn- I am sure you will get through this difficult part and do well.  I just love how much help they are...basically...try harder is their answer.  LOL.
