Hi folks, I figured i would sign up instead of being a lurker. Lots of great info here that has been a huge help. I was happy to finally get a surgery date for Jan. 16 2012 at TWH. PATTS next Thursday. Opti starts on Dec 26 so I'll be able to have a nice family dinner for Christmas.

Welcome to our extend family.Lucky for you to start Optifast on the 26th. I spent last Christmas on Optifast because my surgery was Dec 29th. lol It didn't kill me and now almost a year later it was the best darn decision of my life. I wish you a successful journey and look forward to hearing all about it now that you stopped lurking!
