I was wondering what the best multi vitamin to take post surgery. I've heard of a Bariatric vitamin but I'm not sure if it's only available in the U S.

I take natures bounty prenatal. I've not had any issue, and they were recommended by my centre.

I also take Costco prenatal vitamins, 2 a day. They're nice and high in iron (I'm anemic). I try to get my calcium in but it never seems to work and I can't find a chew that I like.

Do you still take iron on top of that???? I haven't been told I'm anemic simply that it's low and have been taking for a while now but hey if I could cut out one pill it would be great!

Basic supplementation after surgery is pretty similar across the board, BUT... individual needs for supplementation based on one's blood labs is most important.  I wouldn't stop or change anything until I had direction from my surgeon or doctor.

No no.  I know better than to decide on my own but if there was another option it would make sense to talk to dr about it.   I've always found that finding a possible solution and then going  to dr works Better than going and asking what they think in general.     Thanks for your two cents worth lol!

That was at least a dollar's worth. The bill is in the mail.
