I have a surgery date!
I had my OTN "Meet the Surgeon" appointment this afternoon. He had over ran in surgery and didn't have enough time to complete my appointment properly he said. It lasted a total of 7 mins including sound issues on the video conference. I won't need a catheter, I'm not allowed any veggies or broth just opti and water but opti is for only 2 weeks.
He gave me his secretaries number to call and book my surgery which I've just done. She wanted me to come for pre-op Feb 2nd with surgery Feb 20th but I'm in the UK that week so my pre-op is Feb 12th and surgery is Feb 27th.
If any of you could see me you'd laugh at the grin on my face :)

OMG I am so happy for you! That was so quick! I am glad they were able to work around your trips. Maybe I will be as lucky as you and get through quickly too. Here's to hoping!

I can't believe it myself tbh. Please take heart though, I'll be almost exactly 10 months since referral and I haven't pushed that much for cancellations. I have hope that you'll have a similar timeline too :)
