Tomorrow is the day!

Well I have stayed busy all weekend.  And now it is here...tomorrow is my surgery.  I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 but surgery is at 11.

I am a part of a study they are doing on rapid recovery at Charlotte so I have to drink called clear fast now and another in the morning.  They will also be giving my a nerve block in my abdomen tomorrow and hopefully I won't need as many narcotics and will be able to move around and recover faster.

Still not had time to sit down and worry so I am still excited.  It will hit me once I get to the hospital I am sure.  But I had a nice realization this morning.... I lost down to 236 last year but hit a plateau for months and couldn't get past it.  Eventually gave up and gained my weight back.  Well on this 2 week liquid diet I have been losing about a pound a day but then hit 236....I have been 236 for 3 days now even on liquids!!!  But the nice realization is I am going to have a new tool to get past this point starting tomorrow.  And make a new much lower point for my body to want to stay at!

Thanks everyone so much for all of your advice and support.  I will update when I am able.

I"m so excited for you!  Sending warm wishes and prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. I so could have used a nerve blocker; sounds lovely!

You'll be amazed by how you lie down and next thing you know, they're waking you up and telling you it's all done.  At least, I was :-).

Keep us posted when you feel up to it.
