I'm proudly taking my revision weight loss average of 1 lb per month average bc I don't have much left to go !!!! I'm excitedly inching with a snail like pace with my pain free, band free, gall bladderless body towards all of my clothes that are waiting in piles stacked neatly ( HA ) waiting for me to be able pull them up just a few more inches and button them. December 15, my scale decided to become as bull headed as I am and stop budging! The nerve! The months have moved on and on and still nothing ... how dare it be so resistant to the process.... however I have made decided to add premiere protein as my breakfast meal everyday to increase my protein and thankfully It has set things in the correct direction.... 3 months worth of poundage gone ... I'm happy to see 3 lbs gone and having renewed inspiration to challenge myself to an amaw critter addition bc I don't wanna cut my shake for breakfast but I actually think I needed the extra protein to make it to 85 grams per day .... 60 just wanting cutting it for me

Glad you posted. Revision here as well. Down to 174 right now and it helps to see your month by month losses so that I know what expectations to set going forward...I really didn't know since I'm already at my band low weight. This time the weight came off differently, (boobs are still huge) so I figure in 5 or so lbs I will be able to button those blouses I wore 10 years ago. Now I know to expect that to take at least a month or so.

Good for you.

When my weight loss stalled - it took me months of continuous "proper eating" for my body to finally let go. Just as I decided that the extra 10 lbs is not a big deal, and I was happy with myself ...I dropped total of 18 lbs within 6 months. I did change a few things, one of them was more or less "calories cycling" when I would eat more on days I was "hungry" but not eat as much when I was very busy or not really wanted to eat. So I had days with probably over 2000 calories followed by days of 600-700 ...

At the same time - I completely eliminated grains, most straches, and dairy..(yes - even yogurt and protein shakes). I did that to help with my IBS and due to allergies - for health reasons. Plus I only ate some fruits - berries.

But nuts, nut butter, and fat - that I did not eliminate or even limit on most days.

I think change in my diet plus not allowing my body to know how much calories or food is going to get every day - made me lose the extra fat layers ...And not be hungry...

I think sometimes we need to "shock" our system... Change routines..Be less predictable... I know that worked for me.

Your description of calories cycling is interesting - I've wondered if that might be a better plan than day after day of the same calories/food.

Works for me, too. One of the good habits I brought with me from Atkins ~ eat small high protein meals every 2-3hrs to keep my blood sugar level, drink more than 8 cups of water every day, & shake up my routine when I hit a stall. My Dr, Nut, & I are happy with my progress. And I'm extremely happy to be wearing smaller clothes already.

Glad to see you stop by! And happy that, even slowly, you are moving toward that goal!

I've been stuck fit a month now. Got an HRT pellet injection and the weight loss stopped immediately... If course, so did my resolve after a couple of weeks of nothing...

We are out of town this weekend, but I am planning an AMAW week when I get back, going between being out and about in vacay, along with an AMAW follow up week will help me get the scale moving again.

I've decided that I'd like to lose another 15 for my final....

Stop by more often! Miss seeing you here...
