What's on your Wednesday menu, RNYers?
on 6/13/18 3:07 am
Hello friends! I've missed you! Even though I'm starting this thread every day, I haven't had even 2 minutes to come back and read your posts all week. Today will be the same. Remember how I said we would be done with the floor project yesterday? Lies, all lies! It's too long of a story to get into the details but we had to take up the finish and completely resand it. Gah! Maybe today will be the day?
QOTD: What do you do with your lunch break? I never ever took one. I always took time to eat but I always did it while reading email or something. I'm hoping the next job is an opportunity for healthier habit forming and I can be more conscious about taking proper breaks and maybe going for a walk or something more mindful.
Sorry, no menu again. I'll be eating out for all my meals because I have nothing packed here for a surprise day away from home...so I assume eggs and coffee for breakfast, but after that is a mystery. I do have leftover steak and shrimp from last nights meal out, so maybe some of that, too!

Good morning folks!
JB, I'm sorry that there were complications with the floor. Hopefully today will wrap things up.
I made it through my first day back in the office yesterday, but ended up very tired and achy. I went to bed early and slept like a log! Today will be an extra long day since my interview isn't until late afternoon. I'm trying not to be nervous and if I can just relax, I should do well.
QOTD: I love to take long fast walks on my lunch break and it will be great when I can do that again. If I get the promotion, that will be more difficult with more meetings, etc.
Menu: I will try to keep it protein forward but being a bundle of nerves makes my stomach iffy. I have already had coffee and a Premier Protein shake

Thinking of you today Janet with calm thoughts. Good luck with your interview.
Thanks Karen for the kick in the pants! Sometimes I just need a reminder to be a big girl and just do it!
