Sleeved 4 days have question re liquid intake

So I was sleeved on Friday and i was told to drink 3 to 4 oz every hour. Well I can drink more then that, but should I. I don't want anything that will hurt my sleeve. I can probably drink 5 to 6oz in an hour. Do you think I should only do the 3 to 4 is my question?
Thanks
Gina

If you can do 5 - 6, go ahead.  Just don't gulp.  The liquid is passing through pretty quickly - some people have more swelling - but if yours is flowing, go ahead and do the little bit extra!

Glad you are doing so well!

I was told to drink as much as I could hold. The important thing is hydration . Liquid wont hurt your sleeve. I've been able to hold 64oz and more since day one. Congrats!

Thanks guys! I was just worried if I drank too much that I could stretch my sleeve some how. I have failed at all my diets previously and I just want to make sure I get this new lifestyle started out correctly. I have no problem getting my liquids in each day and I have had 58 protein today so  think I am doing okay in that dept too.
I love this board!! Thans for the quick responses.

Thats great sweetie, i would say if it doesn't bother you sip sip sip.  I had no problems getting all my fluids in easy early out either.  Some of us heal quicker than others.   Congrats and enjoy the journey,  lots of wonderful gifts along the way :o) jeani

Hi Gina...just wanted to say congratulations on your shiny new sleeve! (missed a couple days here, sorry!)  Sounds like you are doing really well...that's great.  Walk as much as you can (I did alot of window shopping while recuperating!), and sip the liquids...you'll be on your way!  Best wishes as you continue on this journey,  Viv
