Strange Weight Loss Pattern

I'm down almost 40 and it seems like I'm losing from the top down. I'm like a melting candle!!

In the past I gained and lost pretty uniformly, not this time.

Could it be because I'm not exercising all that hard?

My weight loss has been a lot the same way, in fact I think I've even used the same words that you did - "losing from the top down".  Especially my lower abdomen.  If that could catch up to the rest of me I would be looking great!  I know I'll be in line for some plastic surgery after I get to goal.

I go to Zumba and to the gym (I'm better at going to zumba than to the gym.)  I'm not sure that helps it come off differently or not though.

I've been told that we don't get to choose where the weight goes when we lose it...just like we didn't choose where it went when we gained it.  I've lost in my face and neck, lower arms and lower legs...I can't wait for the rest of my body to catch up!  Good luck to you!

Pretty much the same thing here.  Everyone is commenting on my face and neck and shoulder areas.  I am losing a little bit everywhere else, but nothing like way on top.  Odd!

Same here, top down.  I've always carried my weight in my hips and thighs and the weight there is being as stubborn as ever.

I'm top and bottom with the stomach being the slowest part. Oh well...as long as it all goes.

Yes that is my experience. I was fat all over but a lot of my weight is in my lower half. At this point I am concentrating on working that lower half. I have gotten progress from core exercises in the water, especially for the  lower abs. In a minute I am going to post some recent pics in my profile.
