I'm curious about this too! I almost bought some morning star products yesterday at the grocery, but ended up not because I wasn't sure if I'd like it.

I like morning star farms links and the spicy patties.  I eat one or the other most mornings for bfast.  Good protein source and low cal.  Good all around :)  Haven't tried the boca stuff though.

My daughter, age 14, has been a vegetarian for 5 years. I supplement the rest of my families meat sometimes with boca or morning star, whatever's on sale. They both taste fine, texture is not bad. The fake hamburgers probably the worst because it breaks or crumbles easily. Love the fake chicken or the hamburger crumbles, great in chilli or tacos. Good luck experimenting.

I've had both and tend to like Boca a little better. Watch the NI though as some can have lots of fat.

I find that now at 10 months out, if I have more than 1/2 of a patty I get heartburn :(

I like to have a morningstar maple sausage patty in the morning (along with 2 slices of bacon).  I prefer boca burgers, because they are lower in calories...

I like the Boca Vegan Veggie Patties.  They turn to cardboard if you overcook them, but have a good taste.

Morningstar pizza burger....omg, total comfort food!!!  Its a little low in protein for me, but its a great snack/meal. I have the spicy black bean burgers in my freezer that ive been meaning to try.

I dont eat them because they are kind of high in sodium. besides they are so over processed it cant be good. I think they might be ok fonce in a while. but if you have a tendency to retain water or have other issues probably not the best choice. might be better in maintainance than during losing stage.

I've been vegetarian for 10+ years and plan to continue to be after surgery. The Boca sausage links are good as are the chicken patties. The Morningstar veggie burgers, sausage patties, sausage links, and any of the chicken products are good. The meatless crumbles are good in both brands.

If you want a good meatless burger, Gardein is the way to go. It's excellent (especially on the grill)!  Any of the Gardein products are fantastic.

Field Roast is another good product. Their Italian sausage is fantastic and 26 grams of protein per serving!!  Just had some tonight for dinner :-)
