Well I finally had my sleeve surgery yesterday. All went smoothly but had a lot of pain from the surgical site and gas pain during the night. I hope to go home today but will probably go home tomorrow. I guess that i am now on the loser bench.

Congrats on your surgery! Right here with you!  The gas pain is not a joke! My incision sites aren't too bad... It's the swallowiing for me!  They had to change my IV twice because they both blowed out!  Hope to go homw today!

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

tell your surgeon or nurse about pain, they can help. and get up and walk as much as you can if they have told you to. it helps the gas pain. congrats on your sleeve. look forward to all the good things to come. diane
