How much weightloss in first 10 weeks?
I know everybody is different. But I am getting married 10 weeks after surgery. Not ideal timing I know but it was originally scheduled for February and was canceled. Now my back and hip are worse (born with my spine fused incorrectly and screlosis of the hip) and the doctor doesn't want to wait until after my honeymoon like I asked :( He thinks walking like I am for another 10 weeks will do some serious damage.
Anyway! I just want to know about how much weight everyone lost in the first 10 weeks?
Thanks for your time!

Weight loss is completely individual. It depends on the person and the plan that they follow. It further depends on the hieght and starting weight. There are just too many factors to consider.
I assume you are worried about your dress. (sorry if I am wrong). I would just be prepared to have to pay for some serious alterations. I would advise contacting your tailor as soon as you have a surgery date. Explain the situation to them, and find out how long they can push out alterations to your dress. What is the latest you can have them done, and still get your dress back in time.
If this is about energy - it takes an average of 6 weeks to feel "good" and get used to your energy levels. I wish you the best and Congratulations on your wedding!

Be careful with this kind of thinking. While it's great to have a goal to be aggressive with your eating plan and exercise, those two factors alone don't guarantee losing any particular amount at a time. The last thing you want is to be busting ass as a new postop and still not meeting unreasonable goals, and thus end up feeling like a failure.
I think you'll do great because you have it in your mind that you are going to do things correctly; but 30 pounds a month is ALOT.

As said weight loss is highly individual. That said, any comparison made should be made as a persentage of excess weight loss, not pounds. Someone who is 350 lbs will likely lose more in 10 weeks than someone who is 250 lbs.
So, to answer your question, 10 weeks post op I had lost 54lbs or 30% of my excess weight. This includes the weight lost on my 2 week pre op diet.

There's really no good way to guess how much you'll lose in ten weeks. By that point I had lost about 35 pounds, but I know many that had lost more by then, and many that had lost less. There are so many variables that it really is pretty much impossible to predict.
Congrats and good luck with everything!
