I Had a Breakthrough Tonight!

My aunt died this evening and immediately I wanted to go on a major emotional eating binge.  Instead I forced myself to run on my treadmill,do a Walk at Home video, and lift weights.  I pushed myself to exhaustion, burned tons of calories, cleared my head, and got control of my emotions all without the need of food.  This is the first real emotional situation I have found myself in since surgery, and I think I handled it well.

So sorry for your loss.

Way to recognize and stop the emotional binge.  That is hard and I still have to really work on that.  Very inspirational!
