So Much For Attending the Conference

My husband was laid off this morning. Bummer is, this was doubling/tripling as our 10th anniversary celebration and a birthday treat for our soon to be 6 year old. She said she didn't want a party, she wanted to go to Disney. I haven't broken the news to her yet.

Most everything was paid for, we just needed to buy park tickets and pay for gas. Just can't justify spending the money when we don't know when another paycheck will come in. Such a bummer.

Guess I freed up a weekend to accept more photography clients during my peak season.....silver linings, right?

I'm so sorry Diana.  I hope things get better soon. 

I'm sure it will. Just need to hunker down and ride it out. THANK GOD when my my husband was in an accident last month and it totaled his car, we decided to pay cash for a less expensive car instead of buying new. So glad we don't have to worry about an extra car payment too.

I will pony up $10 to help you make it to Disney and the conference.  Anyone else want to help out?  Lets make this happen...if we each give a little it ill equil a lot.

I love this idea, and I'll chip in as well. Being from Nor Cal myself and now living 6 miles from the beautiful Disneyland Resort, I can't imagine having to give that up! I wish I could get discount tickets for you...but annual passholders only get discounts on merchandise and food.

I know of another event going on at the resort that weekend that would allow you to get somewhat of a discount on tickets. PM me for details.
