Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Wednesday 7/26/17

I saw your second set of plastics is next month. Knowing how you feel now, would you schedule them further apart if you had to do it over or does it feel like a good amount of time separating them? Just thinking ahead for myself!

I've been thinking about this all day, it's a good question. My first two surgeries are 10 weeks apart. The second two are 13 weeks apart.

I think that, because of the combinations of surgeries, the timing is okay and I would likely do it the same way if I had it to do over again. Of course, I also had to work the scheduling around the school term, so I didn't have a lot of flexibility if I wanted to do it all by the end of the year. But.. excluding that, I think it's okay.

But, I feel this way because of the combination/order of the procedures. If surgery #2 was medial thighs? No way. But since surgery #2 is upper body, and my arms feel completely recovered, it's okay. My abdomen isn't completely recovered, but it'll basically have 13 extra weeks to recover before I go into the thigh surgery. I don't predict that surgery #2 will have a great impact on my mobility the way surgery #1 did and the way surgery #3 will.

I hope that makes sense! Thanks for making me think about this.

Working from home today, so I got out of bed and did a 5k walk to start the day!

Have to brave the DMV and get a new license today because of my new address. Technically I could renew online and have it mailed, but I want a new picture and I want a new fake weight (now that I'm below my post-surgery fake weight!), so that means going in. Thankfully, here in AZ the DMV has a website where you can see how busy each office is, so I just zip in and zip out.

B: protein shake

L: some kind of stir fry... probably tofu/chicken and veggies

S: protein shake

D: family taco night!

E: 5k walk so far, arms and cardio at the gym this afternoon

I recently started making 'deviled eggs' with avacado with the yolks and habanero sauce. Super yummy with a kick! Had that with my lunch today.
