What kind of Chinese food do you order after WLS?
Hm I get steamed shrimp or chicken and veggies myself - no sauce, just add some soy sauce. I don't know what they do to it, but it tastes delicious. All that other stuff is just not necessary to me.
Having RNY was probably the best thing I've ever done for myself.
Approx highest weight: ~350. Highest measured weight: 338. Surgery weight: 297. Lowest weight (for 5 minutes): 169. Current weight: 209. Goal weight: ??? - maybe 180-185, which was my maintenance weight before the regain.
Had Chinese for the first time 2 weeks ago. Ordered the Chicken with mixed veggies. I asked to have it steamed instead of stir fried. Put sauce on the side and hold the rice. It was great and I got 4 meals out of it.
I stay far away from the sweet (Gen Tso, teriyaki, sesame whatever) dishes as the are sugary, oily and calorific!
No thanks. I ate enough of that crap pre-op to last me a lifetime.
