I'm wondering if one of the Christians here would be willing to answer some questions for me. I am not Christian but I have some things I'd like to understand. My partner is Christian and I tried to ask him but either he did not know the answers or just got frustrated with me because his answers weren't making sense to me. Or maybe he thought I was trying to argue with him, which I was not.

I am not interested in being converted and I'm not interested in arguing. I just want to understand some things.

I'd rather talk in PM because some of it's kind of person stuff and I don't want to start a heated discussion here on the board.

I was born and raised Southern Baptist and studied theology at a Baptist college. I would be happy to answer any questions I can. I am no longer a member of any organized religion, though.
