WHy do people write subject lines like they're writing for the Enquirer?

"it can't happen"
"OMG..."
" Oh No!"
"HELP!"
Do they think they will draw readers out of curiosity?
Nouns and verbs are free.
On a practical note, it makes their posts less likely to come up on a search.
A complete subject is likely to draw more readers, and draw those who can and are willing to reply to the subject.
No I'm not playing Forum Police. I'm expressing my opinion. I'm just sayin'.

I can only think they are trying to draw readers out of curiosity, like you said.

Rarely works for me, but then I'm not a very curious person.

OTOH,  I also don't open certain types of specific subject posts....

"Is my poop normal"
"Yummy Protein Drinks?"
"Three weeks out and I've stalled"
"Which is better, RNY, DS or Lapband?"

Before WLS, I had pretty well conviced myself I couldn't lose all that I needed to lose. With WLS and the commitment starting with three weeks of Optifast pre op, then paying out of pocket for surgery, I know I can do it. The speed doesn't seem as important anymore.
