Welcome!  I second what these experienced ladies advised.  Research the surgeries first....then choose the best surgeon for your choice.  They all have pros and cons.

With any WLS, a total lifestyle change is a must for long term good health and weight control.  Exercise must become part of your life, so you'll need to find something you can do.....there are many options, and you don't have to be a super athlete...you just have to move your body daily.

It is a lifestyle change...  

Last August, my parents came to visit and they suprised me with the fact that my dad had done gastric... what a shocker!

In the week we spent talking and everything, i learned how much of a change it was... it was strange...  but cool! 

and in the week he was there, he lost 6lbs!

Be sure to do lots of research on LONG TERM RESULTS of each procedure.

Nose has been stuck in the laptop tonight doing research.  My dad is even helping me further learning about whats out there.... i wanna be informational about what i'm gonna be doing to my body... plus wanna be informational for my seminar...
