Does anyone eat baby food?

My diet plan says I can eat Stage 1 or 2 after about 10 days or so.  No desserts, etc., just plain.  I planned on eating organic since it does not contain any additives.  SInce my son is 18 months I've tried them all and really like some of the veggies.  Seems an easy way to eat pureed (plus adding unflavored protein power).  Thoughts?

I didn't even feed store bought baby food to my baby.  I found it much cheaper to just steam and puree our own veggies.

I need stuff I can take on the go.  That I can easily pack in my bag.

Ditto!   I never fed commercial baby food to either of my two children as it has little to no nutritional value for a baby, let alone a fully grown adult!!!

OP, there are many more nutritional alternatives for you to take on the go ...

you can get a small insulated lunch box/cooler and an ice pack and be able to carry quality snacks/food while you are on the go.

Yes, I did briefly when it was inconvenient to take real food.  It is pretty nasty though, but it will get you by in a pinch.

I thought about Baby food as well.  My NUT called it a bad Idea.  The reason being that baby food is usually much too high in both carbs and fat for sleevers.  The best thing to do is to plan ahead, thats a good practice anyway, and take what you need with you.

In a pinc also the singl serving size cottage cheese and greek yogurt are good as well.

Baby food was on the list of things that I was allowed to eat, so when I was in my mushie stage and didn't care about the carbs, I did eat a few jars of baby food.  I could only tolerate the fruit, but if you can eat the veggies, I would say go for it.  We were all raised on jarred baby food and it didn't kill us.
