I have no regrets
I had the Duodenal Switch (DS) surgery 4.5 years ago, lost 200 pounds, reaching my goal weight in a year and mainttaining the loss ever since.
I eat what I want, when I want and the weight stays off. Every day I am amazed at how the DS has cured my pre-surgery medical issues and allows me to live such a normal life without "diet" worries.
I love my DS

If you sincerely want to talk with people who have regrets---and I really think everyone considering WLS should---you should check out these forums:

I'm 8.5 years post-op from the DS, and I'm VERY pleased with my decision. I live a wonderfully 'normal' life now.
