Finally Joined

I have been lurking on this site for months now and with my surgery getting approved today I finally joined! My insurance required a 12 month diet and so many other things in order to be considered for approvel. I am so excited about the next step of getting the surgery

When you got approved for surgery did you think it was real? like that yes they are telling you it is going to happen but you can't wrap you mind around it ever happening yet? I feel like I will be saying it isn't going to happen until they are wheeling me into surgery!
