First post op visit

How much weight was dropped at the first post op visit? And how long after surgery was the visit?

As you can imagine it differs from person to person and surgeon to surgeon.  If your surgeon has a support group be sure and attend and ask these questions for feedback. If you see the surgeon a few days after leaving the hospital it's possible the scale will not show a loss due to swelling.  Don't worry so much about a number on the scale, you will do great

I had my surgery on dec 18th and went for my 1st post op appt today and since surgery I lost 17 lbs in 20 days. My dr was really pleased with my weightloss.

I saw my surgeon about two weeks after surgery, and I was down about 23 or 24lb.

Remember, every body, every surgery, and every reaction is different!

I will be two weeks post op tomorrow and I'm down 25 lbs since coming home from surgery... I know some of it is fluid weight from the iv in the hospital. Thanks for the reply! I'm excited to be on this journey:)
