I've been reading Shelly's (Eggface**** cream recipes which she makes in a Cusinart Ice Cream Maker.  Has anyone ever tried making ice cream using a Premier Protein ready made shake, using an ice cream maker?

Too funny I just spotted this and thought hey that's coincidence I just answered that Q over on the Facebook page then I realized you posted earlier... I'll reply though here in case others are curious.

I have not had success with Premier RTDs in the ice cream maker. You could of course use Premier Protein powder and 2% or above milk (or I use Silk Vanilla Soy or Soy Dream Vanilla for non-dairy options)

But... it makes great popsicles (dixie cup or dollar store pop form or ice cube trays for mini icy treats) but even better...

Do it now... so so so good.

Shelly, I made the pudding you suggested, using PP Bananas & Cream ready made shake.  YES!  DELISH!!  I added Fat free cool whip and a sliced strawberry on top.  Heavenly!

Ohh I have to get my hands on some more of the Banana flavor, glad you enjoyed it!! Hoping they start stocking it beyond Sam's Club soon. I had a couple of samples a few weeks back and enjoyed them reminded me of banana BBbats (those taffy sort of lollipops anyone remember those)

I picked up one of these Magic Bullets this weekend that makes ice cream out of fresh fruit.  Do you have any experience with one of those, or ideas for a protein forward recipe?

I've seen people toss a couple of frozen bananas in and a splash of SF Torani or Milk and whiz them till they become creamy. I'd maybe add a scoop of protein (banana & coffee or banana and chocolate) to that. I do the protein shake ice cream https://www.pinterest.com/eggface/protein-ice-cream/  because it's a bit lower in carbs but if you can afford the carbs and/or need the potassium try that.
