I mix G2 powder in with my water - doing that really helped my orthostatic hypotension.

I am not much expert in this. But the doctor can guide you well in this. He/she knows well how to increase salt and make it double shortly.

I typically take a 'shot' of lite salt 2x times a day. 1/4 teaspoon each time helps with leg cramps, etc.

I buy little salt crystals/nuggets (in bulk by the ounce) at health grocery/ food co-op. Some is pink sea salt. They are smaller than a Tic Tac and I just like to let a piece melt in my mouth.
