As a previous type 2 diabetic, I had regular endocrinology appointments for the past several years.

Today I had my first follow-up appointment since my VSG in November, and boy have my labs changed!

Another 0.1% and I won't even be considered diabetic anymore! :-)

I'm so happy for you.

ISO ... New "clique" members. You must be kind, warm, welcoming, honest, intelligent, and have a sense of humor. The words "shamed" or "victim" can not be in your regular vocabulary. Ok so what helped you the most? I am almost 2 months post op. My blood sugars were coming down great. They even took me off glimpized before I left the hospital, but once I started soft food it started going up again. Granted my meds have been reduced to about a third of what I was taking for diabetes. I still hope to get off of everything. How much weight have you lost? I lost 19 the first month, but this month I have only lost 6.
