Has one of your goals been to lose 100 pounds? Many OH members have logged in to the OH Goals System and set this as their goal. As a matter of fact, 443 members are currently working towards this goal and 328 members have achieved this goal! Wherever you are in your weight-loss journey, congratulations on each pound lost!
OH member LaDonna (mslrb2000) recently shared that she has reached her 100 pound weight-loss goal:
"I am proud to report I have met that goal! My starting weight was 394 pounds (4-5-11) and my weight today (6-15-12) is 280 pounds! My experience has been very surprising and enlightening. I sometimes don't recognize myself or my ‘new' attitude about my healthy lifestyle. I have good days and bad days like everyone, but I no longer choose to dwell on mistakes. I do, however, try to examine and determine why I made a ‘less than the best' choice. And, then, just keep moving forward."
LaDonna has set a new goal to celebrate her first year surgiversary on Oct. 10, 2012. She wants to lose another 50 pounds by then.
"My advice or insight for others would be to use the resources that are available to us. Support groups, doctors, other medical professionals, YouTube, ObesityHelp, and SparkPeople have all been invaluable to me! I don't let ‘opinions' decide my medical decisions, but I do use all those resources as a tool or knowledge base. Have fun on your journey, document your journey; the changes may seem slow, but you will look up and six months has gone by. Finally, honor yourself by making your health a priority and take the best care ever!"
OH member Christi P. also reached her 100 pound weight-loss goal. "Goal achieved! I've lost the equivalent of my 6th grade son! I wouldn't want to carry him around all day!" she shared with OH members.
Celebrating Reaching Your Goal
Have you given any thought as to how you will celebrate your weight-loss goals? You are working hard to reach your goals and deserve to celebrate your success. Ali Sarah celebrated reaching her 100 pound weight-loss goal in a creative way.
"I made this awesome photo collage. And, then, I posted it up for all my friends and family to help me celebrate how far I have come! It was shameless, but I don't care! I also saved some of the nicest things people said, printed them out, and put them in my surgery memory book!" Click here to take a look at her beautiful collage.

• As a pre-op, I loved to get on OH and spend hours looking at all the before and afters. It gave me hope. So today I reached 100 pounds lost, and I thought I would come on and post some pics (http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/ds/4508500/100-pounds-lost/) for the pre-ops to see what is possible with the DS and seven months. I am so thankful for my DS and for my surgeon who made this possible. I feel like a new person. I feel so much better. All the nervousness, pre-op, and wondering of how it was going to be was all worth it!!- ambermay

• I need to make that a goal. It seemed so unrealistic before I had the surgery. So far, from my highest weight, I have lost 71 lbs; since the surgery 3 months ago, I have lost 62 lbs. I will add that to my goal list, right now, keeping my fingers crossed!- Lisa S.
