Hang in there. It gets better. There is alot of swelling with the PS...with most surgeries, but mine was worse with the PS's. I imagine it is also because you have to take it easy when you are used to exercising and so it can be even more sluggish feelings and frustration. You have goals and you will see them happen!! Patience!

How is it feeling with regards to the changes since plastics with your skin and the lack of it?

Depends on the days. I think WL is sooo # focused it is hard to step back and realize I did have skin taken off even though the damn scale says im much heavier. And then...some days I feel like i just traded one set of rolls for another (my stomach has 4 rolls tonight haha). 

But when im able to re-focus, Its just...downright amazing. Even swollen, my body has a whole new shape and Ive lost the "i really hate my body" thoughts that plagued me for so long. 

I also could not live with the excess skin. Plastic surgery made me feel "whole" again. My boyfriend did not want me to have it because he loved me "as-is" and was worried about the risks of surgery. After surgery he admitted it was the right choice for my mental health.
