Just saw this on Facebook and thought it was pretty interesting.   All the veterans probably already know about this, but it's new to me, so thought I'd post it.  One ingredient ice cream!  Can't wait to try this!

I have had this at a friend's house and it was delicious. When I was young a store near us made homemade ice cream and my fav was their banana - this recipe tastes just like it! Yummy!

By the looks of the sliced bananas, they are using fresh (ie not turned brown) for this, and are probably just freezing until solid.  I just might have to try this myself!!

I have a bunch of bananas that I put in the freezer for banana bread, but I guess these would be too old - they were brown already.  And the longer they are in the freezer, the browner (and mushier) they get when they thaw.  Found that out the hard way.

I've posted this here several times. I do this all of the time with the bananas I throw in the freezer. Even better drizzled with some SF Hersheys Chocolate syrup.

Mentioned to a friend and she said she does it all the time with ripe bananas ( not over-ripe super brown ones) and adds a couple of drops of real vanilla...
