Endoscopy and Colonoscopy post RNY
. It took a long time to work and then I spent most of the night on the toilet. My Endoscopy and Colonoscopy were scheduled for 13:00 today. The Endoscopy went fine with no issues. When it was time for the Colonoscopy my bowel was not clear even with all the prep. There were a few areas he could not see. He did do a bunch of Biopsies. I guess I have long, lazy but spastic bowels.So now I have to do the prep again in 2 weeks and have a Barium Enema. I am so not looking forward to having to do this again. I wasn't really hungry and I drank tons of fluids so I have no idea why it didn't work. Next time I have to take 4 Dulcolax and 3 Pico in one day.
I just need answers on what is causing my abdominal pain and extreme bloating. I swear I look 8 months pregnant by the end of the day most days.
Okay done whining for today.

Hopefully though they will finally get some answers as to what is causing the issues...in the end if they get the answers it will well have been worth it!

Sorry to hear of your issues with the colonoscopy.
Usually they give you a barium enema before the test, but each hospital is different I guess, they do it
so they make sure that all is clear. My husband had done the prep at home and they ended up giving
him 3 barium enemas before doing the scope, LOL, he was not a happy camper.
I will have to have the colonoscopy done on July 4th and I am not looking forward to it either.
