Started my second week of optifast today. Wow! It really isn't as hard a it seems. You really aren't hungry and who knew how much you would look forward to veggies everyday! Lol

My only thing right now is I wish for something warm! These shake would have been great in the summer but now that the weather has turned it's cold! Lol trying to get used to having black tea. That's going a lot better than the black coffee! Lol

This week flew by fast and somewhere I lost 9.8lbs. I was so excited. Hopefully the next two go by really quick!!

I'm 2 days behind you and finding each day is getting a bit better as far as hunger goes.  The biggest thing I've noticed though is I seem to have more energy, which is awesome!

I totally hear you on the shakes being great for summer but not so much in the winter.  I've been drinking lots of decaf, herbal teas and I think I'm starting to get used to them.

Glad you are doing so well. I had broth a couple of times a day to warm up and have something savoury instead of sweet.

Thanks everyone. I'd love the broth but was told by surgeons office it's a no go for us. I assume because of the sodium content.

I think I will stirfry up my veggies tonight for something different (and warm lol)

When I was discussing late minute items with Tracy she crossed it out. She said its better if we don't.
