Can't believe it's been 2yrs. So much has changed, so much happiness gained. I'm proud to say I'm still maintaining my lowest weight ....it's a daily chore people!!!! I still track everything, weigh myself daily, gym 5 days a week. It's a lot if work...but I know what the alternative feels like...and want no part of my "old" life. I've had my challenges and set backs as we all do...but I'm feeling proud and very happy today with myself. I am so glad I had this surgery.

Congratulations on losing weight, keeping it off, and being active! You go girl!

im preop. Two years out are you able to eat whatever you want? How about rhe quantity?

Thank you.,,yes I've been able to eat anything from about the 3mth point. No sickness, no ill effects no huge amt of restriction.. Those were the things i was hoping would deter me from eating. I relied on measuring not to overeat. Being pre op realize that many many people after the healing process feel "normal" again...it's all you and all the choices you make. I was 100% diligent in yr 1...lost the majority of weight by 7mths. I never tested the waters by trying bad food because of fear...all the stories I heard from others. After yr 1 I realized I could eat anything with ease...that's when things get harder. Stay away from the bad stuff as long as you can. Use that golden first yr to get the weight off....then maintaining from there

Good luck to you Lucile777 .
