Just wondering what people have been taking for fibre supplements if any? I'm eating fibre one cereal twice a day and it's helped a lot but wondering what else people do to keep things "moving"...

I have been told that people are using Milk of Magnesia --- I use Benefibre now but I don't know what to use after the sleeve.

I try to get my fibre from food, if I can, but I also take restorolax when needed.

i take restoralax daily and a high strain probiotic 50-100 billion strain.. I open the capsule into a protein shake. I am 2 years post op and for the first 11 months i had extreme constipation the only thing that cleared it up was restoralax and probiotics.

For some reason I just can't get used to restorelax...I also take a stool softener and I'm going to start on probiotics...hopefully the cereal, SS and probiotics moves me to regular BM...

I'm HOPING anyway! Thanks for all the suggestions!

i add 1-2 scoops depending on how regular my bowels are into a big jug that holds 80oz water, i put two packages of crystal light in and shake and by the end of the day i have drank the full bottle + some times i fill it a second time (i dont add another scoop if i re fill the bottle) part of the softer stools is making sure you're getting in all your fluids in the day too not just fiber / stool softeners etc.

I saw this on the SLEEVE forum for the USA-

It's a pudding that a NP told her patients to make after 3 months:

1 cup applesauce

1 cup wheat bran

3/4 cup prune juice

______________ 1-2 tablespoons a day heated in Microwave----

Followed by 1 glass of water
