Post Op 15+ mos (RNY)

Good morning gang. Feeling pretty crappy this morning, I have a cold settling in, my throat is sore my head is congested. UGH. Going to head to the gym and see if I can sweat it out! Won't go too hard today though.

Nothing much going on at work. Would love to take some vacation time but nothing booked until September. I have a few days to play with here and there so maybe a long weekend or two coming up.

B - skyr and blueberries

S - cherries, premier protein

L - chicken with sautéed peppers and onions, 30 gr sour cream

S - 30 gr old cheddar, 4 triscuits

D - chicken sausage

Total Cal 1023, Carbs 67, Protein 100

Fridge is a little bare so will have to come up with something a little better for tomorrow. Scale is cooperating down to 175.4 this morning. Still trying to play with a maintenance diet.

Have a great day!

Good morning Ginny. Hope you feel better. Off to work today. I have work left from last week so should be busy.

I shopped at costco yesterday. Bought my daughter some things. She had left laundry at my house an we were suppose to be dropping it of. Thought while I was going I would drop off a few groceries. Dropped off the groceries and managed to forget the laundry. Oh well guess she will have to pick it up.

b greek yogurt, blueberries, granola

l chili, cabbage salad

s celery and laughing cow

d shish-k-bob, tzatziki, salad

s cherries

Hello everyone:

I feel a bit "off". shaky. I did not get enough water in yesterday - not even half of what I should have. Also, I had a work emergency and was up until 2 am with work and now I am getting ready to head to a clients office to do an internal audit that I cannot back out of. I had some pretzel crackers and peanut butter last night around midnight - 1 am - not sure if that is why I am feeling this way - also, I am just exhausted from life - go, go, go between a busy travel work life, the kids day camp, my one son's job, baseball ... I am just tired .... long blabbering to say I am just feeling off and anxious today and just have a feeling no food will go in

so - this is very strange I am sure but I have 3 optifast shakes in my cupboard and I know that they have all the protein and essentials that my body needs - I will take some "food" in a cooler but I think I am going to just have the optifast shakes today ... I just don't feel "right" today and it is making me feel nervous.

Hope that all makes sense ..... I don't see the harm in it, although I know food is the best choice - the thought of eating is making me want to vomit. I think it is a mix of anxiety because of work stress, lack of sleep and not enough fluids yesterday.

Good morning,

I'm sorry you and Ginnny aren't feeling well Leeann. I made the mistake of having a few pretzels with my grandson on Sunday and paid with great discomfort for over an hour resting with a heating pad on my pouch for relief. I'm usually pretty good and won't make that mistake again.

I turn 55 today and haven't felt this good (sorry) for probably a decade. What a present to give oneself - the gift of better health!

Going to my daughter's for dinner - unsure other than knowing it will be a lean protein and either a green salad or grilled veggies.

B - 1/2 Premier protein bar (from yesterday; forgot my shake) and black decaf.

L - 3/4 cup 1% cottage cheese

S - Armstrong cheese stick

D - Probably grilled chicken, 5 shrimp and salad

S - 1/2 cup Skyr with unsweetened applesauce

Calories: approximately 500, protein: 88, carbs: 32. All water and vitamins.

Enjoy your day.

Thank you Ginnny. I'm aware that those days are numbered. I'm taking your advice and trying to concentrate on the higher gram proteins. It has got me moving - for this week.

Feel better and thank you for all of your help.
