Good morning! I was up super early today because I had to take my Trucker to the airport for 5:30. He's flying to Calgary to see his daughter who is in the hospital. So that put me at the gym early, and now here at work. At least I can leave an hour early this afternoon however I wanted to do the 20/20 class at the gym again, but I really should just go home and look after the dogs. That's a long time for them.

Your Trucker is a good guy to fly and be with his daughter.

Good morning :)

I can't believe it is Wednesday already. Friday is DHs Christmas party for work so I need to figure out what to wear. I usually wear a dress, but I'm thinking dress pants might be more comfortable. I have a bunch now that I bought for work from Ricki's.

Post-op two years, eight months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - egg, orange

Lunch - turkey pepperette

Snack - cheese stick

Dinner - pork roast

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

isn't it great to have choices for what we can wear to fancy occasions. Dress pants sound like a good option, with a knockout top.

So I totally forgot to post yesterday! I am starting to lose my hair so I decided I should cut it shorter so it is not as heavy and maybe (wishful thinking) I will lose less. I had an early morning hair appointment and am now sporting a bob. It feels so light and healthy. My hubby prefers longer hair but he will just have to get used to it.

Lovely warm day here today, taking the dog for an extra long walk at the dog park followed by giving her a bath as she will be so muddy!

Menu 3 months post op

We've been there with the hair loss. If it's any comfort, mine is thicker and healthier than it was before surgery.

That is a comfort. When does it stop falling out?

Mine stopped at about 9 months. I noticed it more than my family and friends did. Cutting my hair short helped. When it did start growing back in, I had these new little hairs that stood straight up.

It's just a byproduct of rapid weight loss. Some don't have it, most do. There are a lot of posts about it, but I have yet to read a post that has a real solution for stopping it other than time.
