X Post- I'm sick of hating my body so...

My thighs are gross, I have back fat, and my bat wings are disgusting! Not to mention my  roll of stomach fat that is now a split roll due to my open surgery (gross!) is still visible.  Every time I look in the mirror all I see is the negative.  So as I sit here I making the following list:

Here are the top 5 things I love about my body
1. My waist, it is small and I like that.
2.  My hips because they make me look like a curvy, sexy woman.
3.  My fingers because they are long and thin and make me look delicate
4. My ankles...because I have them now
5.  My smile, because I have one of those now too.

Enough beating myself up, I have come a long way and resolve to be nice to me!

Right now I'm looking at my bat wings as a sign of how far I've come.  I'll hate them in a year or so I'm sure. 

1.  I love that I no longer have to put makeup on my double chin because it's UNDER my chin now instead of blending into it.
2.  I love my teeny tiny ankles.
3.  My legs from mid thigh down are SEXY!
4.  Every now and then my fingers look long and thin instead of short and stubby.
5.  You can tell I'm smiling when I smile now and my eyes have resurfaced again!

I think we should be nice to "me" every chance we get.  We've worked hard to get here!

I posted this on the other board but I had my panni removed 7 years ago after I lost weight with my first WLS and then regained most of it. Now that I have lost it again I love my flat tummy.

Hmmmm.....I'm jellis because I would like longer, thinner fingers.  The better to fing with!

Okay, here's what I love now about my body:

1.  It feels light and strong and it will transport my spirit and soul for miles at a time!
2.  Love my flat tummy.
3.  Love my face now that I'm not squinting out at the world from folds of fat.
4.  Love my legs, my thighs feel nice and strong and they look thin in pantz.
5   Love my upper arms and forearms.  I can see muscles!

We do deserve to be nice to ourselves.  We have beat ourselves up so much.

Some time ago I made an amends to my feet.  I told them I was sorry for how much I put them through when I was super morbidly obese.  I meant it.

And I love that I can say, in the past tense -- When I *WAS* super morbidly obese.
