Today is better...

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. First, I think I naturally plunge into doom and gloom feelings when I go too long without exercising. So the first thing I did after tapping out that note was get in my gear and do Zumba!

That gave me some much needed head space. When I said I was being selfish, I didn't mean the kind of selfish where you feel guilty for having "me time." I've embraced that kind of selfishness. I'm talking about the kind of selfishness where you steal time from your responsibilities to do what you want to do. That's not so good. So I'm going to try and watch that.

At any rate, I'm feeling a lot better today. I'm on vacation next week (my broke ass isn't going anywhere but I'm not going in to work!) so I think that will help as well.

Thank you all for being such a loving and supportive family. I really do treasure you guys and don't know what I'd do without you.
