Good end to the first year of the rest of my life!

I went shopping today.  I have lost 24lb since my surgery on 11/29.  Not as much as many people, but all in due time.  I tried on a smaller pair of pants and they were a little snug, but I could have bought them and been happy. I was able to buy a smaller size in all of the tops I got and I actually even bought a button down shirt (which I have always hated due to gaping in the front.)  It was a great feeling to not be in the largest size in the store.

All in all it was a successful day.  I am looking forward to shopping more in 2012.  Happy New Year everyone!

 Congratulations!!!   I'm just a few days ahead of you and have lost around 34 lbs. I'm fine with it going slow as long as it's going. LOL.

Awesome! I refused to buy new jeans (I am not that far out), but I did spend an hour looking for the only belt that I own!

wear those pants even though they are snug because one day they suddenly will fall off of your butt.
