Do you count the ounces of water you use with protein shakes as water intake?

I mixed10 ounces of water with BA protein powder to make a morning shake and have also consumed about 50 ounces of water today.  So have I had 60 ounces of water or 50 ounces?

I don't use water in my shakes, but I can count any liquid that is non-caffeinated and low or no calories (milk, powerade zero, broth)

According to my nutritionist you had 60 oz of fluid. I use milk in my shakes but still count them as fluid since they are caffiene free and not carbonated.

no but I do count the milk!  Protein shakes made with water taste like ass!  Like Kelly I count popsicles and jello.  I have been known to eat and entire batch of SF jello in one day.

But with an avergae intake of 200oz a day in fluids my main source is SPorts Drinks.

I hate protein shakes!!!  However, I just found a fantastic way to meet our protein needs.  Walmart sells a protein shot with no sugar or carbs (I think no carbs?).  Don't know if it comes in other flavors, but I purchased the fruit punch which packs 27g of protein in less than 3oz.  I finished it off in two small swigs.  Didn't taste bad whatsoever.  Definitely will be my go-to protein replacement from now on.
