procedure tomorrow
ok...i haven't been able to eat real food since about christmas...i have thrown up everything solid i've eaten in the last two & a half weeks, so i went back to liquids & i go back to the hospital tomorrow morning for a procedure to he can "check my pouch"...i don't remember what the nurse called it, but she didn't use the word scope...anyone have any idea what i might be facing tomorrow...? just curious...
I've had a few egd's those are as you mentioned scoped. Basic a camera in your tummy. Most likely they want to make sure things are passing smoothlyu they do a barium swallow. You would have had one of those before being discharged. I hope nothing to invasive. Did they say to have someone drive you? My egd's have all been under anesthesia.
An endoscopy, probably. Maybe an upper GI, but more likely an endoscopy (which is a scope).
