What is your opinion of the light versions of sausage and bacon?  I know they tend to be high in sodium, but I wasn't sure how they com paired with fat.   I normally stay away from them, but when I was at the store I tried a sample of a meal with turkey sausage, spaghetti squash, and spinach that was wonderful.

There are SO many different varieties, that the only thing I can suggest is to READ THE LABEL.

I get a smoked turkey kielbasa and use it in steamed/microwaved veggies, and it makes a very satisfying meal. I only use about a 4" piece, then slice it into rounds; the juices combine with the veggies for an easy, tasty meal.

You don't really need to fight the calories battle anymore. Watch your protein, carbs and sugar, and you should be ok.

Best wishes,
