SMO No More!

I have chosen to weigh myself only once a week--a sanity saver for sure!  When I weighed in this morning at 214.4 lbs, I calculated my BMI.  I'm no longer Super Morbidly Obese! I'm out of the 40's and have a BMI of 39.2 which is in the Morbidly Obese category.  Who knew that after only three months and 49 .4 lbs gone I would feel so GOOD?!?!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and realize that "little" victories are how the battle is won.

Congrats Lori!! I totally agree with you. Celebrating every victory on this journey keeps us going!!

Last week I hit Onederland!! Super victory. This week....I noticed my feet are smaller and wore a pair of shoes that were tight....smaller victory! Either way, I celebrate!!

I can relate to the 50 lb thing as well. I told my family....I was only half way to goal but felt amazingly different!! My sister pointed out...its not so shocking...I had shed a 5 year old! My niece is 5 years old and weighs 50 lbs...so my body feels GREAT no longer carrying that around!

Stay strong & take care.

The chart as I know it goes like this:

BMI/Weight Category

Less Than 16 Underweight
16- 18.5 Thin
19-24.9 Healthy
25 - 29.9 Overweight
30-34.9 Obese
35-39.9 Severely Obese
40-49.9 Morbidly Obese
50-59.9 Super Morbidly Obese
60 and Over Super Super Morbidly Obese
SO you aren't even Morbidly Obese- you're just Severly Obese!!! WOOT!!
