One Year Anniversary

Today is my one year anniversary!  I can't believe it's been a year, time has flown!

I thank my doctor and the nurses every day for this gift as I could have never lost this amount of weight without this surgery.  To me this is a miracle!  My health has improved so much and I am so thankful for that!

My pre-surgery weight was 287 pounds and now I'm down to about 152!  It's surreal going into "regular" stores to buy clothes and I still can't believe when I look in the mirror, that person staring back is me.  One year ago, I never thought I would be where I am today!

I don't usually post here, but I have it bookmarked and up every single day at work so I can read and continue to learn.  I am grateful for this web site every day-thank you all!

 Congrats on your success. I know when I lose all mine I will enjoy it everyday. I am very happy for you and you should be so proud of yourself.
