Picture and some thoughts

This weekend I went out with my friends. I am 24 and have known them all since I was 12. They have never made me feel uncomfortable about my weight and I have always felt accepted by them. However I hate looking at photos like this and instead of seeing a group of great friends I instantly zone in on how big I look. Also we are all the same age and it is crazy how much being overweight ages you. I feel like I look soooooo much older. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone else ever felt like this when they looked at their pictures. So excited to revise from my band to bypass August 20th I see my new surgeon and start the process. YAY!

Ugh, there are whole years where the only pictures taken of me were at Christmas, so I know how that goes. Just keep chugging along. Soon you'll have to dig out your old pictures and compare them to new pictures so you can get a visual on how much weight you've lost.

I fell the exact same way as you. I'm a little older now but I always looked at the pictures and was like OMG I'm so and so and so and so together!

 It's been like that for a long time, for me. I hope I'll be better about taking pictures.

 Oh yeah... definitely.  Can't remember a time when I liked taking pictures.  Now even with the weight loss still not thrilled because of my saggy turkey neck.  But I will step into a picture here and there now!  All in due time...

You still look beautiful but you're right, the weight ages you. Looking at my before pics to my current pics I look a good 10 years younger at least :). You're gonna be a knock out m'dear!

Thanks everyone glad to see Im not alone in the way I am feeling. I cant wait for my surgery. I just want to do things normal 24 year olds can do. LIke go to a braves game and fit in the seats, or go to six flags and be able to ride rides. Im also excited to be able to actually go shopping with my girlfriends in the same stores that there in! Also they all like to run marathons and I would love to be able to start doing that eventually!
